Parkour
Turn any environment into a playground for movement and physical challenge. This program is for students of all ability and fitness levels, and will include instruction in the basic movements and techniques of parkour, as well as exercises designed to improve general fitness and ensure the long-term practice of parkour. Sessions will focus on exploring and moving within one’s environment and will include a number of games, exercises and drills to improve balance, coordination, strength, spatial awareness and flexibility while having fun.

Brooklyn Boulders
At Brooklyn Boulders, we seek to change the game when it comes to experiential education. We’re meticulous about creating holistic curricula, that is experiential and interactive, on and off our walls. You will leave BKB programming with new friends, a stronger sense of self-confidence and experience building their will to try, fail and try again. Learning things like problem solving, concentration, movement and spatial awareness are just the beginning!

Somerville Media Center
Creative kids can make all types of original media at Somerville Media Center! Learn how to use our equipment and studios to make films, create a funny TV show, take photos, record your own podcast and/or animate your own stop motion stories. Make new friends while learning real media production skills, like camera operation, editing, audio production, and more. At the end of the week, you'll have multiple projects you've made yourself that we'll broadcast on our TV channel, Youtube, and beyond!

**All youth who sign up for the media center must check off that they allow SMC to use their child's image on our TV station, website, social media and other distribution channels.
